a message from paul dreyer, director
Hello parents and campers!
This is such an exciting time for Outside Adventure Kids. Never again will we have a first summer. I am grateful to be directing the efforts of this new adventure, and I am excited for YOU to be the first parents and campers to come along with us on this journey. Although we have been running these same day camps in Colorado for 10 years, our entry into the SF Bay Area feels like a real expedition! Read more...
My goal for all of our camps is to get your kids psyched to be outside. My hope is that we do this primarily in three ways - (1) We hire staff that truly love being outside and truly love being with and having fun with kids; (2) We do fun stuff that kids love - each day of camp we do a different, engaging outdoor activity; and (3) We empower kids by both creating a fun environment in the outdoors, and also teaching them real skills that they can use in the future.
At the end of a week of camp, I want every kids to say, "I loved my counselors, I had a ton of fun, and I'm ready for more outdoor adventure!"
Thank you for your interest in Outside Adventure Kids. Thank you for supporting healthy outdoor adventures. Thank you for coming along on the journey Outside. I look forward to meeting you in person and answering any questions that you have.
