Extended Care & Early Drop
Outside Adventure Kids offers the option for early drop-off starting at 8:00 AM for $25/week, and/or late pick-up until 5:30 PM for $75/week. During the after camp program, participants will have an afternoon snack, and then participate in arts and crafts, outdoor games, and hands-on projects. This service is provided by Outside Adventure Kids after-care specialists that are trained by OAK, so it makes for an easy and comfortable transition from the rest of the camp day. After care is provided on a space available basis, so register early!
Camp Photos
Every day at camp each group carries a digital camera with them and takes photos in the field. These photos are then uploaded to a site that you can view, share, download, and print from. This popular service is now included in your Registration Fee. You will receive an email with a link to your photos by the third day of camp.
Tee Shirts
Show your camp pride with high quality Outside Adventure Kids logo imprinted apparel! 100% cotton Outside Adventure Kids Tee Shirts are included in your registration. Additional shirts are available for only $10. Tee Shirts are pre-shrunk, with taped neck and double stitched collar and hems. Tees will be delivered to participants during their first week at camp.
Lunches
We will enjoy our lunches in the field, so please pack a nutritious meal to provide energy for the day. In addition, please pack at least 2 water bottles for your child.
Friends Together
We will make our best effort to accommodate friends that want to be in the same group together, but cannot guarantee such. When you proceed with the online registration, there will be a space for you to indicate the names of friends that you think will attend the same session of camp. Please note that in nearly all cases, age-consistency in a group will override a friends’ request. In our experience, placing children more than 2 years different in age than the rest of their group members results in social adjustment problems.
Forms & First Morning Registration
You do not need to bring any paperwork to camp unless your child has special medical needs.
Once you fill out all of the online health history and emergency contact information there is no paperwork you need to bring to camp except:

Nature of Activities
At OAK we are outside playing, running, kayaking, hiking, biking and climbing every day. During the course of a week, it is often the case that campers will come home with a scrape or bruise due to the physicality of activities. This is simply the nature of learning outdoor activities. For a more detailed discussion of the spectrum of risks involved in outdoor activities, please refer to our Parent Handbook and/or our Risks & Release Form, or talk with the OAK Camp or Program Director. You can email him at Paul@outsideadventurekids.com.
Parent's Day
Parent’s Day is a great opportunity to get out and see your children in action! We invite all parents to join us out in the field one day of each week of camp. Often times, parents simply watch their children perform, but there may also be an opportunity to get inspired firsthand. If you cannot attend, no problem. We certainly understand that it can be challenging to get off work in the middle of the day on short notice, and we can always recommend places to recreate with your family on the weekends. This year, Parent's Day will be during our hiking day at the Marin Headlands, and in partnership with The Marine Mammal Center. In the afternoon, parents can come hike with their kids and learn (from their kids) about The Marine Mammal Center.
Parent Handbook
We have an extensive Parent Handbook that has information on all aspects of our program.

You do not need to bring any paperwork to camp unless your child has special medical needs.
Once you fill out all of the online health history and emergency contact information there is no paperwork you need to bring to camp except:
- If you opted to bring a California Immunization Record during online registration. This is the same immunization record that you use for school.
- If your child caries an inhaler or an epi-pen, we require a Respiratory Issues Health Care Plan or Severe Allergic Reaction Health Care Plan be submitted. These forms require both a physician and parent signature. We would like to have the forms faxed to our office at 720-398-6204 as soon as you have them completed so that we have time to review them before the program. Please bring the original with you the first day of camp. These forms can be found on our website in the Forms section.
